Ikon Pattern Cutter

The Aeronaut Ikon Pattern cutter is a purpose built plotter-cutter for working in the garment industry and other areas where it’s necessary to cut and mark thin cardboard, thick paper and other pattern materials.

The Ikon Pattern Cutter is a stand-alone machine which accepts standard HPGL commands and can be driven directly by programs common in the garment industry such as Optitex. The LCD front mounted control panel allows adjustment of variables such as speed and acceleration etc.
 
The Ikon has two pneumatically operated two tool holders. Normally a sign blade cutter is fitted to one holder and a marker pen in the second holder. The tool holders have pneumatic pressure control enabling accurate cut pressure control so extra-thick or heavy materials can be cut with ease. Pressure is adjusted by the in-build air regulator.
 
Many pen types can be used for marking, from simple ball point pens to overhead projection markers, pencils and paint pens. The cutter holder takes widely available carbide sign blades and can also be used for heavy duty stencil cutting. The integrated vacuum table is fitted with a long-life plastic top which does not damage the cutting blade.
 
The Ikon Pattern Cutter is shipped complete. Attach the legs and it is ready to run.
