Aeronaut is doing a lot of trade shows this year so there will be a few demonstration machines for sale. These are normally narrow machines, between 1600 and 2000 cut width and have had just a few days of light use. A good clean demonstration machine may be a good way to get a great cutter at a great price. 

Used machinery.

Used Aeronaut cutters are fairly rare, but recently we've seen a number of customers buying new machines so there may be a few used cutters around looking for a new owner. 99% of all the machines we've made are still being used on a daily basis and some are approaching 20 years old and only a handful have changed owners.

Over the years, Aeronaut cutters have added new features, got faster and more versatile and fabricators have changed machines looking for increased productivity.  If you don't have the budget or workload to support a brand new cutter, then a second hand machine can give you the advantages of automated cutting without the expense of a new machine.

Laser Demo systems.

From time to time, Aeronaut has demonstration laser systems available at good prices. The reason for this is that over a period of time (<> 5 years) the gas filling the laser tube slowly leaks out, and the available power is reduced. Of course the laser can be regassed at any stage to bring the laser back to full power. So for obvious reasons, we don't like to keep laser demonstration machines for more than 6 months.

Demonstration lasers may be a few percent down on power, but will almost certainly deliver more than their rated power since most new laser tubes are supplied 10 - 20% up on rated power. Demonstration machines carry a full new machine warranty.
