We Require a full-time factory hand to join our friendly team in our fast growing, high technology company in Terrey Hills.
Aeronaut is an Australian family owed business, we have been delivering high quality cutting systems for over 25 years. We have our own design engineers, software developers, production team, service team and admin under one roof. We have a world wide distribution network with exports making up 60% of our production. This role involves assisting all departments in the factory where needed. This could include anything from building machine sub assemblies from components, manufacturing vacuum tables, packing machines ready for shipping, assisting with loading CNC machines with materials, manufacturing components, picking up parts in the van, painting a door or sweeping the floor.
You will need to maintain a clean and organised workplace and follow safe work practices. There may also be a requirement to operate a manual lathe and other factory equipment as required, you will be given full training on all equipment and tasks.
Occasional travel to assist with machine installs and onsite work will be a component of this job. Travel is usually interstate and will take a week (occasionally longer) to complete.
You would be working here in Terrey Hills, with a small and friendly team, under the guidance of our production manager to produce our precision, automated cutters.

Mon - Thus 7.30 am to 4.00 pm (1/4 hr coffee and 1/2 hr lunch)
Fri 7 am to 1 pm.
The right candidate will have an interest in manufacturing and engineering, be keen to attempt any task needed in the factory with a can do attitude and an eye for detail, have the ability to work independently or within a team, have the ability to travel when required, and be ready to learn new skills.
Experience with general power tools, general factory equipment and a forklift licence is an advantage.
